greetings.
i'm fresh from vacation and have a bit of an alarming scenario to share with you. i believe our hard-working TSA employees do a great job monitoring the security of our airports in order to ensure our safety; however, what good are fancy machines, the removal of shoes, and 3 oz liquid limitations if a yahoo like me can practically walk right onto the tarmac?
here's the sitch. emily, xavier and i flew down to florida together. when we got to the airport, emily and xavier waited at the curb while i went to park in the over-priced airport parking lot. as i pulled out of the drop off zone, i read the sign which clearly stated "economy parking keep right." i went left. because i laugh in the face of signs.
i tried to recover by pulling some stealth driving moves, but due to the fact that i had to battle chicago traffic whilst doing said moves, i ended up in a very official looking zone that had a lot of those little trolleys that they use to transport the luggage from the airport onto the plane.
for you visual learners...
this was me when i realized what i had done...
so there's that.
