look who found a lamp shade for her treasure mart lamp.

actually, it's the navy lamp shade that i mentioned in my latest target entry. thanks to a heads up from stephanie, i was able to snag the last one on clearance.

and thanks to a helpful comment from dar kleinheksel, i was able to modify my antique lamp to accommodate this modern shade. since i have no idea what to call any of the lamp parts, i'm just going to give you a picture tutorial. they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so hopefully these 6,000 words are helpful.
