like always, spring break flew by. i ran into a few people around town this week who asked "what are you doing for spring break?" per usual, i responded with "oh, nothing." but looking back at the week's activities, i suppose it wasn't spent doing "oh, nothing." really, i got a lot accomplished. but, of course, i left ample time for some lovely "oh, nothing" moments. i spent my spring break:
- dining with friends
- holding sweet baby norah bean
- shopping at ikea
- cutting, painting, faux sewing and hanging curtains
- researching yo-yo quilts
- fashioning a dog crate topper
- crafting a silk organza necklace
- baking cookies
- going to the dog park
- cleaning, cleaning, cleaning
- trimming the hedges
- feeding a new mad men addiction
- shopping for a new lamp shade
- raking the yard
- going on long walks
- basking in pure michigan
- waking up early, only to take a nap an hour later
