for the sake of keeping you informed.

today was an endless revolving door of guests in and out of my house.  first, the landscapers came and hacked the buh-geezus out of the bushes in my front yard.  oh, good lord, they needed a hacking.  next, the plumber came to install new plumberish things in my bathroom.  finally, allison (of mallison fame) came with her dad to move some of her belongings into my basement.

so.

today i got shazz done.

i gardened.  and i have never gardened before.

i made postcards.  postcards that were long overdue.  my friends, meghan and kathryn, are the queens of sending letters and cards.  i always love receiving their sweet words, but i am the worst worst worst at reciprocating.  so today i took it upon myself to make postcards to send to the girls.

i used a couple of photos from a recent weekend trip we took and added some text to the photos.  i mounted the photos on card stock, recorded a message, and voila.  a homemade postcard.  not the most original idea in the world, but heartfelt nonetheless. 

spoiler alert, meghan and kathryn: you're getting a postcard in the mail.
