recommitment week update.

last week was recommitment week.  if you recall, i went on a 4.5 pound foodfest for a couple of weeks and had to literally work my ass off to shed the pounds.  so that's exactly what i did. 

after visiting the gym and eating well for most of the week, i lost 2 pounds.  which means i currently need to lose 2.5 more pounds to get back to my lowest weight.  la-tee-fricken-da.

on an unrelated note, i sincerely apologize for the lack of posts lately.  i love blogging.  i really do.  but sometimes i just get lazy.  even about the things i love. 

lucky for you, you haven't missed any of my major life events.  i go to work.  i go home.  rinse and repeat.  oh!  this is exciting: i've fallen in love.  with instagram.  i really am obsessed.  feel free to follow me @sarahrayok.  instagram is handy because it lets me snap a quick shot of little moments in everyday life that i want to hang onto.  plus i don't have to lug my camera around, which is really nice.

norah bug has been extra cute lately.

it's tulip time in holland, michigan!  clearly the vendors did not get the memo that i'm on a diet.  rude.

while babysitting for norah buggy last friday, we took a walk by the holland country club that closed a few years ago.  it brought back fond memories of driving around, aimlessly, in high school.  somehow we ended up here a lot.  just sitting.  looking over the golf course.  i miss that.

on saturday i celebrated sinko de mayo.  my comedy show is coming soon to a venue near you.

i also chaperoned prom on saturday.  the theme was hollywood (obvi).  minus the sleeze.

there you have it.  my life lately in a nutshell.  thrilling.
