we all need friends like meghan and kathryn. the kind of friends who come inside after hours of travel, plop down in the middle of the floor with you and pick up a conversation right where you left off months ago. i had the pleasure of hosting these ladies for the weekend. our agenda was flexible, allowing us time to just enjoy the company of each other. oh, it was a good weekend.

the best weekends are filled with:

pancake breakfasts.

tumblers of red wine and cards.

downtown lunches.

qdoba on the pier.

boat gazing.

and lighthouse loitering.
