the children have grown and left the nest.

a moment of silence, please. abc has officially pulled the plug on all my children and one life to live. i've never been a fan of OLTL, but the loss of AMC stings a bit. now, i stopped my faithful following of AMC after i graduated from high school, but i still feel like it's the end of an era. AMC taught me four valuable lessons.

1) the definition of rape. sad, but true. the word 'rape' was used, i asked my mom what it meant and she was honest with me.

2) people never really die. even if someone jumps from a building engulfed in flames and is laid to rest, she is bound to reappear years later. and you better watch your back because she'll steal your man.

3) when it comes to marriage, if at first you don't succeed, try and try again. and again. and again. and again. and again... erica kane was legally married 7 times and had 5 invalid marriages.

4) amnesia can and will happen to anybody at any time. consider yourself warned.

and may we never forget all of the celebrities who have AMC to thank for their careers.

sarah michelle gellar

josh duhamel

kelly ripa

first they take the office from me (face it, that ship is sinking once steve carell leaves) and now they take my children. all my children. what's next? the shirt off my back?

  1. I was a huge AMC and OLTL fan in high school too. General Hopsital is my all time fav and I would be devastated if they cancelled! Sad to see both go!
