please exercise your constitutional right by voting. help me decide what the eff i should do with the pile of two-toned straw on my head that sometimes passes as hair. the situation is out of control. i called my hairstylist the other day in an effort to rid myself of my lackluster locks, but she was booked. although i was annoyed at the time, it was probably for the best. i've made some poor split second hair decisions in the past. i've had some time to think about what hair styles are tickling my fancy lately and i came up with these (note: i did not choose these photos based on my opinion of the women who sport the do's.):

option 1) oh, hey, mark ruffalo. nope, i'm not going for a short mancut, but i do like his wife's do. i'm not sure i could pull of the bangs because i have wavy hair that just won't simmer down.

option 2) nicole richie is rocking a similar hairstyle, but it's a bit softer with the sideswept bangs. you've come a long way, nicole, since your days as paris' sidekick on the simple life.

option 3) how about a 'just above the shoulders' look? i'd like to donate my hair, so it might need to be a little shorter than sandra's.

option 4) i could also keep it long and wavy. just trim it up a bit?

option 5) sick. just kidding.

so what do you think? i have a bit of time to decide (my appointment isn't until next friday), so feel free to offer other suggestions. in case you need a reference point, here's what i'm currently working with:

i'm on the left (shout out to shelby on the right), but picture dark roots about half way down my head and split ends aplenty.
