life lately again.

hello, strangers. i call you strangers because it's been 3 days. and that's how strangerhood works. it's been a busy week filled with baby showers, visiting new babies, basketball games, new holland brewing co. pepperoni pinwheels, goog's MGB burgers, hope college basketball games, field trips and warm weather teases. and it was valentine's day. but some of us don't celebrate that. and we don't want to talk about it. in the midst of all of these events, i've managed to squeeze in a few other activities that have consumed the rest of my time:

this is ree drummond's true story of how she met her husband. it's adorable and i'm having a hard time putting it down. does anybody know a cowboy i can marry? this book makes all other men seem inferior. sorry, all other men.

currently watching:

this was the final season. now that it's over, i feel like my friends have left me. i knew it had to end and i like the way in which it ended, but i still miss that crazy fisher family. moment of silence should commence now.

currently listening to:

i'm not proud of this, but i can't stop listening to b*witched. you know, the girl band that was popular for about 30 seconds in 1998. when i was in 8th grade. i've ditched my ipod for the past few days and traded it in for a cd player and all of my old school cds. it's actually been pretty awesome. some of my greatest cds include b*witched, chumbawumba, aqua, and all saints. if you remember any of those bands, your level of pathetic equals mine.

currently sitting on:

no, i have not been sitting on kim kardashian. i've been sitting on my butt. when i think 'butt,' i automatically think 'kim kardashian.' girlfriend's got a booty. of course, mine is not nearly as perky as hers. i just can't seem to get off of mine. i have had no motivation to exercise lately. i'm hoping this warmer weather will provide good motivation. something has to change. WARNING: WHEN YOU TYPE "BUTT" INTO GOOGLE, YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE WHAT YOU SEE.

currently dreaming about:

summer on lake michigan. i need it. i'm jonesin' for it. gimme gimme.

currently looking forward to:

spending my mid-winter break with these good friends. i'm packing my bags, dropping gerty off at her grandparents' house and heading east to stay at my friend, lisa's, house for the weekend. while there, we'll be having a mini vienna reunion with my friends, meghan and jeremy, too. words cannot express how excited i am about this trip. we'll miss you, kathryn!
