oh man, guys: tgif. can i get an amen? it's been a whirlwind of a week. not in a good way. my grandma has chosen to discontinue her kidney dialysis treatments and was admitted to the hospice house on tuesday. my family has spent a lot of time with her during the week crying, laughing, reminiscing and letting her know how much we love her and will miss her. because i want to spend as much time with her as possible, i haven't been doing a whole lot socially. here's what i
have been doing:

reading: room by emma donoghue. it's this month's book club selection. i haven't gotten very far yet, but so far so good.

listening to: andrew bird. he is simply lovely.

watching: six feet under, season 2.

wearing: my new mountain hardwear monkey woman jacket. thanks, mom. i love it.

eating: cottage cheese. lots of it. and greek yogurt. my bones are going to be sweet.

feeling: exhausted. physically, emotionally, etc.
hopeful for: grace, contentment, compassion, comfort.
that's all. for now.
Sarah, I'm so sorry about your grandma. I'll be praying for your family. Love you friend!
