i've shared a few of my
kitchen inspirations with you, now join me in the bedroom. not like that, perv. before i show you some snaps that tickle my fancy, take a look at the current state of my boudoir. but don't make fun of me. i wouldn't make fun of you...except when i called you a perv. my apologies. i snapped these snaps the week that i moved into my house (september 2009), so the current arrangement of furniture is a bit different, but you get the idea.

because i'm a glass half full kinda gal, let's start with the positives. there is a lot of natural light and the windows are in the back of the house, so there's lots of privacy. the bed is super comfy. which leads me the negatives. the bed is a twin bed. yes, i confess, i am still sleeping on the same little twinner that my parents bought for me when i was a tot. it's also the same mattress, which is probably not so great for my spine. i'm not a fan of the dark wood trim. i know, i know, there are a lot of wood purists out there who disagree, but i like what i like and i like white trim. the gross curtains are left over from the previous owner. i'm not completely against a white bedroom, but i don't like the current white. it definitely needs to be freshened up.
okay, here's what i'm liking out there in blogland. take a looksie.

the second room is my favorite. i love the fabric across the wall and the DIY headboard agains the window. the layout would be pretty easy to emulate in my current space. it is also looks like it's pretty DIY friendly, which i'm all about.
okay, now it's your turn. i need some feedback. which room do you like the best? do you have any other bedroom inspirations that you'd like to share? gimme gimme.
