this is what a diet looks like.

this diet has seriously been lacking something. chocolate. now, i don't have a major sweet tooth. yes, i could easily eat an entire 1/2 gallon of ice cream by myself. yes, i've been known to polish off two (or more) pieces of cheesecake in one sitting. yes, the number of cookies eaten in one day easily hits double digits. just because i have eaten those things doesn't mean that i needed to eat those things. obviously. nobody needs that. but it was mindless eating. eating because those sweets were readily available. if a bowl full of french fries would have been placed right next to the plate of cookies in the teachers' lounge, the choice would have been simple: fries (and probably stuff some cookies into my pockets for later). doughnuts vs. bagels? bagels. potato chips vs. cake? chips.

but. i am a firm believer in "all things in moderation." and sometimes "all things" sans moderation. after neglecting her for such a long time, my sweet tooth started singing. and do you know what shut that old bee-hotch up? this:

hungry girl's chocolate chip cookie crisp pudding shake

the recipe makes one shake. one shake = 5 points plus.

and it's worth every damn one.
