whoa. did you make time to go to target yesterday to snatch up some missoni?

i did, but apparently not in time. i, you know, work on tuesdays, so emily and i had to speed to holland after work yesterday to get in on the action. when i say "speed" i'm not kidding. at one point i was doing 85 mph on a country road. so stupid.

my one goal was to buy this blanket:

unfortunately everyone else in 616 area code also wanted the blanket. c'mon, you guys. i want it more. my heart nearly fell out of my butt when i saw the naked end cap. i guess i'm over it, but i threw myself one heck of a pity party yesterday. there was even some baby talk involved.

i guess i'm luckier than most, though, because i did manage to leave with a couple of purchases. i picked up a cute pair of brown, zigzag tights and these beauties:
