my kind of fair.

i woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this morning knowing that i was heading to the fair.

the allegan county antique fair.

emily, tony, xavier and i ventured down to the allegan county fair grounds to sift through booth after booth (after booth after booth after booth...) of antiques in search of little treasures. i had heard good things about this particular antique fair for a while, but i think i let intimidation stand in my way of attending prior to today. so glad i'm over that.

here's the gist: there are hundreds of booths spread out all over the fair grounds. and carnival food. ohmygosh, the carnival food! i'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

xavier is concerned about protecting his street cred. what will the other babies say when they find out he's hanging with the blue hairs at the antique fair?

if tony's job as athletic director doesn't work out he should seriously consider a job as a personal shopper. i mentioned that i was looking for jadeite and he was all over that. what a guy.

if you want to get in on the action, the antique fair will be back in allegan on the last sunday of september. DO IT! did i mention the carnival food?
