chair fabric. opinions wanted.

i've got fabric on the brain, you guys. unfortunately, i've also still got fugly fabric on my $20 thrift store chair (as you witnessed the other day). now that summer is almost here (i've only got 14.5 more days of teaching. show me a teacher who doesn't count down to the last day of school and i'll show you an std-free jersey shore cast member), i will have more time to tackle the projects that i have been putting off for far too long. i'd like to start with the chair.


have you heard of tonic living? they offer some seriously stylish retro fabric for some of the cheapest prices that i have found. here's some contenders for my chair:

there's also premier prints. they have some equally cute fabric for even better prices. pretty much everything is priced at $6.98 per yard.

hmmm, upon further examination it looks like i picked mostly yellow options. shock and awe.

    well could you have made this any harder? i mean how is someone who is in love with gray and yellow really supposed to wade through the loveliness of these options and actually form an opinion?

    if i must narrow it down..here are my faves. i don't think i can put them in order..that would be asking too much.

    1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 19

    ok...let me try one more time.

    and now i am keeping in mind timelessness and the clean factor.

    (btw...thanks for doing my research for me! i need to recover the cushion on a rocker in my soon-to-be nursery and now i don't have to look as hard for cute fabric. you're the best!)

    Option #2 - easiest to get straight lines! Love some of the others but too light - too hard to align - too busy. Love the color choices.
