birthday wishlist.

my birthday is coming up (in about 6 weeks), which means it's time to start making my birthday list. i know you will all want to start shopping early, so i thought i'd be helpful and let you know what i want. i am really nice like that.

that's right, i dream big. i've been playing around with my brother and SIL's canon rebel t1i and i love it. i'd be able to take sweet photos for the blog, which is really like a gift to you. you're welcome.

i'd also like a sewing machine. now, i have absolutely no idea how to sew, but i'm dying to learn. attention sewers: what is the best machine for a beginner? and by beginner, i mean zygote. i have absolutely no idea what i'm doing, but i want something that is super user friendly and not too expensive. does that exist?

these anthro curtains made the list. because they're purdy.

feather hair extensions. obsessed. i had never even heard about them before i went to a baby shower on saturday. i wouldn't want as many as this particular model is wearing, but you get the idea. you can wash, dry, straighten, and curl them just like your normal hair. love it.

reader's digest bound books. aren't they lovely? my friend, kathryn, sent me a picture text a little while ago and said she found some for me and i've been obsessed ever since. kat, your the best. now i want more. because i'm greedy.

gimme jadeite. i can't get enough. if you want, rob this lady's house and steal hers. she's got a kickin' collection. and for that, i must hate her.

but if you don't feel like committing a felony, i'd gladly settle for a bottle of this jade nailpolish.

if you're planning on buying me a bottle of nail polish, you're also going to need to find me a new toenail. no, this foot is not mine. i wish. my feet are way uglier. last summer i was walking gerty and she decided to run as fast as she could. and i decided to hang on to the leash for dear life. i went flying through the air like superman, landed on the pavement with my sundress well above my waist and banged my foot on the pavement. the big toenail fell off around thanksgiving and still hasn't grown back. way sexy.

when you're doing your shopping, feel free to deviate from this list. i love surprises. and make sure you talk to each other. how embarassing would it be if i ended up with 12 new cameras? i guess i'd survive.
