another target roundup.

i need to begin this post by thanking you for the feedback that you've been leaving in response to my 'what do you like about my blog?' question. some of the things you like to read about really surprise me, but it's nice to know that i'm not boring you to tears. or it's nice to know that you are too kind to say otherwise. one of the two.

some of you mentioned that you enjoy my target tours. and who am i to deny you what you want? without further ado, i present another target tour.

i want this navy lampshade sooooooo badly. this picture does not do the color justice. i really want to slap it on top of my yellow treasure mart lamp, but the lamp is old school and has a harp. the lampshade, sadly, does not.

question: how great is dwell studio's line of tablecloths and napkins? answer: very great. if you can't commit to buying the bedding, a tablecloth is a good alternative.

this photo kicks off the 'sarah has spring fever' portion of the tour. i've got my back yard on the brain and i'm liking these little globe lights. i'm liking them so much that i bought them. target has a lot of great outdoor lighting options right now. and, of course, they're all reasonably priced. go, target, go!

i don't have patio furniture, but you can bet your butt i'd buy these soft blue cushions if i did. love them.

let's add an outdoor rug to sarah's endless whishlist. i like the orange and tan version. dash and albert also has some great options. choices choices.

i am in lurve with with these copper planters. i want them all. i don't know anything about plants, but i sure as heck would learn if it meant that i could fill these lovelies with some pretty plants.

target also had a great selection of patio tables and chairs (my battery conveniently died so you'll just have to take my word for it), but i'm really hoping to find a hand me down at a thrift shop that i can give a little TLC and bring back to life. does anyone have a little bistro set that they'd like to sell for $30 or less? i'm thinking something that looks like this:

and speaking of target, there's still time to enter my target giveaway. remember, the winner will be drawn on friday. don't forget to get in on it!

  2. Here's a DIY on how to make the awesome Anthro pillow from the yellow lamp post. It's on my to-do list for summer!

  3. Pretty sure you can take your harp off the lamp and put this on. I think it's (harp) secured under the socket and this is removable (make sure it's not plugged in - or your hair will really be curly!) Let me check at home but I think it can be done - there's ALWAYS a way when the "I just gotta have it" brain kicks in!
